In 2017, Janet Crown, founder of CrutchKeepers, had a labrum repair and needed crutches. She loved her Mobilegs but they kept falling every time she set them against a wall or desk. It was challenging to pick them up without falling or reinjuring herself.

Janet contacted her friend inventor and product designer, Tim Pearce, and explained the problem. Tim suggested using two sets of moveable magnets to keep the crutches together.

In 2018, Janet replaced her left hip and by then Tim had designed exactly what she needed - CrutchKeepers. This enhanced her recovery and prevented her from hurting herself again. Keeping the crutches together was life changing. Janet created CrutchKeepers to make life a little bit easier for everyone when dealing with an injury.
